Their second and final one. So if watching the Bielat/Frank debate doesn't give you political junkies enough of a fix then you can tune into this debate which will be livestreamed here. It starts at 7 p.m. PST (I.E. right now). A number of very recent polls (which I can't seem to find a link to at the moment) seem to indicate that Murray has opened up a lead over Rossi that's outside the M.O.E., 6-8 points, so that sucks. And if you don't already have it bookmarked, here's linky to Real Clear Politics' Poll Average Page. It covers pretty much every election in the country above dog-catcher.

Just because, that's why.
Robots are Stealing American Jobs:
(Might as well continue the robot theme from Dave's post)
"Forget the recession, immigration and the mortgage industry collapse — when it comes to loss of American jobs, robots are to blame."
"That’s the conclusion of economists who have studied labor statistics and increasing job polarization, a growing disparity in pay among low- and high-skilled jobs. A handful of studies from the spring and summer have picked up steam in recent weeks, and they raise some interesting questions about the economy in the days leading up to Election Day."
"Manufacturing is still strong in this country — it's just that robots, not humans, are the ones manning the factories. If automation is the future of manufacturing, medicine and other fields, less-educated Americans could be left in the dust."
Oh joy. And when they're done stealing our jobs they'll move on to stealing our souls.

P.J. O'Rourke Ponders Pennies:
From an article at Rightnetwork. The salient point being:
"In for a penny, in for $16 million of wasted tax dollars spent to put eight billion pennies into circulation each year. Take care of the pennies and the pounds (of flesh extracted by the IRS) will take care of themselves."
Plus a discussion of zinc markets if you're into that kind of perverted thing.
Penguinehs:
In Memory of Barbara Billingsly: 1915-2010:
You guys kinda' talked about her passing in last night's ONT but for some reason no one's done a post about it outside of the comments. So here's a musical tribute so lame that it could only be done on the ONT (and not the good ONTs like Maet does):
