Arizona's Illegal Immigration Law: Will Other States Follow?

Sounds like they might. Including the border states of Texas, Utah, Ohio, Georgia and Maryland.

Two Republican state reps in Texas will propose it again in January.

Cornyn continues to embarrass on this. Thanks John. Keep making me wonder why I voted for you.

Some of my blog and online friends have expressed principled concerns about the Arizona law, and I respect those. I am not as concerned, but neither am I sanguine. I worry that "voices of reason" in the Congress will take this as their cue to step in with another Comprehensive Piece of Shit attempt (even though right now they claim it's "dead in the water").

Recent legistative activity at the federal level kinda makes me think nothing is really dead in the water.
