Good evening morons! Since it's been a slow day, I guess we'll start the ONT early.
SUV Drives Through Starbucks
Here off-duty Sacramento sheriff's deputy, Lisa Gargano, drives her SUV into a Starbucks. She was later arrested for DUI for being under the influence of prescription drugs.
More Driving dumbassery:
According to the comments this was a $50,000 Dodge SRT-10 truck and no alcohol was involved. So sadly this was sober stupidity. Language warning.
Truthfully I never cared for cursive - I never found it that much faster to write than block script and it was always harder to read. Once teachers allowed me to turn in printed papers, I switched over to the computer and never looked back.
The next time I used cursive was when I studied Russian in college. All of our assignments and papers were written in the Russian version of cursive which has the advantage that it's written pretty much the same as a normal Cyrillic font. No oddball capital letters. Since then other than signatures, it's been all block printing for me.
Oh and another reason to avoid cursive - computers generally can't read it so it screws up OCR.
So in conclusion: cursive is the devil.
