I still swear I'm being punked, but someone on the Internet says it's true, so it must be.

Like all of those people telling me that Obama's telling the truth and that if I don't support the plan he can't be bothered to write down every white person in the country will call up their local Night-Rider recruitment service and begin asking if there are any openings for the position of "Exalted Cyclops."

What you're about to see is amazing.

A bear is reported in the woods of a suburb of Cleveland. Fine -- newsworthy enough for the local news.

But then they decide they need to simulate what a bear in the woods might look like.

CGI, you're thinking.

No. It's local news. They used up their CGI budget on their super-cool opening credits.

F A K E: That's Drew's assessment, based on the lack of chyrons/supers and lack of anchors "tossing" to the local reporter.

A commenter points out there's no station identifier/logo at the bottom right of the screen, which is of course now industry standard.

So is it fake?

Well... probably.

But I'm leaving it up. I hope it's real. It's too funny to not be real.

What say you, Cleveland area readers? Is this what FOX 8's newscast looks like? Is that a real reporter for them?
