Either he realized that Beck and the right might turn on him or in his pathetic need to be seen as a real journalist, he didn't enjoyed being compared to Bill O'Reilly in a NY Times blog.

Decoder is all for fearless reporting, but making commentators and media executives the target of investigations reminds us of the ambush interviews that “The O’Reilly Factor” was doing earlier this year that Brian Stelter wrote about in The New York Times.

In recent months the ambushes have come under increased scrutiny, partly because the targets have changed. While most of the initial subjects were judges and lawyers whom Mr. O’Reilly perceived to be soft on crime, many of the past year’s subjects have been political and personal opponents of the host.

Perhaps it was a combination of both.

Either way, Allen Glines hit hardest.

BTW-Olbermann just went down the list of Jone's problems and noticeably left out the whole Truther thing. Obviously even this fool knows some of his audience would find that a bit much. Not many but some.
