Van Jones Had Lots Of Questions About 9/11 Back In 2002
Bloggers who used to dislike Truthers and desperately wanted to portray last night's revelation as a lie hit hardest.
Gateway Pundit has the goods. Again.
I've got Sunday night in the "When Will Van Jones Be Publicly Tossed Under The Bus?" pool.
Oh and until Obama does that, I'm done criticizing Birthers. I still don't agree with them but as far as I know, none of them occupy a high level position in the executive branch of the US Government. Priorities and all.
Questions, Questions [ace]: Jake Tapper lists the questions the protesters, whom Van Jones joined, wanted answered:
"What is the relationship between Bin Laden, his family and the Bush family and the Carlyle Group?
"Why were no fighter planes dispatched to intercept the four hijacked planes on September 11th, in violation of standard procedures?
"Who actually was in control of the 'hijacked planes'? …
"Did the CIA have foreknowledge of the attack, who tried to profit with put options on American, United, Merrill Lynch stock just before the attack?...
"What are Bush's and Cheney's connections to the drug industry?
"Why is the evidence being destroyed when an investigation of the World Trade Center collapse is needed?"
This was in 2002. Van Jones asks us to believe that despite having already joined the Truthers at least once (that we know of) in 2002, and knowing their agenda, and also given the ubiquity and stridency of the Truthers who made their views loudly known (particularly in anti-war circles), he just had no idea what they were all about.
