Note he claims this despite the fact that Van Jones himself will not claim it. Van Jones claims to not be a Truther, but he pointedly does not claim his name was falsely signed to the petition.
Apparently CJ considers himself free to spin whatever defenses he wants to protect his precious Obama Administration, even defenses refused by the person in dispute, who ought to know.
If Van Jones himself were claiming his name was falsely signed to the petition, I guess I could blow this off as no big deal. He said, she said. In such a dispute, actually presented by a contesting of the facts by the parties, Johnson could choose to believe Jones' account.
But Charles Johnson is now simply inventing defenses for Jones. He's not choosing to believe Jones' side of it. He's making up a defense, putting it into Jones' mouth, and then claiming "I believe Jones."
Look, whatever. I don't really have any interest in discussing Charles Johnson. I have no personal grudge against him.
But I do find it interesting how easily he contorts himself into whatever new shapes the Obama Administration requires.
I think that that is finally that.
There is simply no point any longer arguing with CJ or protesting his bannings or all the rest of it. He is plainly an ObamaBot, as zealous a partisan as Eric Holder or David Axelrod, and it's time to just accept that and MoveOn.org.
