Congress: all your bonus are belong to us

Don't like AIG bonuses? Easy fix: tax them at 100%

...vote today on a bill that would levy a 90 percent tax on bonuses paid to employees with family incomes above $250,000 at companies that have received at least $5 billion in government bailout money.

As much as I'm unhappy about this whole AIG affair, the US congress behaving essentially like a bunch of gangsters is rather disturbing. Then of course there's the whole constitutional prohibition on congress and the states passing ex-post facto laws. I rather doubt rep Rangel has ever read the US Constitution though.
