Eric Clapton: Shooting Helps Develop Social Skills

Well, tchyaah, doesn't everybody know that?

He seems to like collecting firearms too, although he's a little worried about it.

The musician recently cleared out his gun cabinet, selling 13 pieces off at auction in Britain. Clapton insists he had to get rid of the weapons, because he became hooked on collecting them. He adds, "It is following the same pattern as when I collected guitars - I get obsessed, then engulfed and finally narrow the collection down."

Brother, don't even get me started on the guitar obsessing.

All you really need in life is a good .45 and a Strat.

And maybe a Les Paul Classic, with that tobacco sunburst finish? No! Cherry... yeah. Much better.

Oh, and an Alembic Signature Deluxe 4-string. Coco bolo is nice.

And a Carvin DC400 with those M22 dual coil humbuckers?

and, uh... what? Why are you all lookin at me like that? What'd I do now?
