500,000 PUMA Votes Could Swing Election?
So says this guy's math. If 500,000 PUMAs vote McCain-Palin in 11 battleground states, we win, he thinks.
This is sorta plausible. I know a few Hillary supporters who are not PUMAs. They strongly dislike Obama. ("Strongly dislike" may understate it.) However, they can't quite bring themselves around to declare for McCain-Palin. They're too self-identifying with the Democratic cause.
But is it possible that a half-million of such angry not-quite-PUMAs have been telling pollsters (more or less truthfully) that they lean Obama and yet, in the voting booth, will cast a somewhat impulsive vote against him?
Possible.
