Obama Whines Again (Kat-Mo)
I'll try not to take over the entire blog, but I just caught this. Obama whines to Katie Couric that some "right wing, republican media outlet" (Fox?) went after his wife.
What a piece of utter, hypocritical crap. He had his wife out giving stump speeches as if she were his quasi Vice President. She was legitimately lambasted for her comments on his candidacy, America and the elections in general. At no time was his wife personally attacked. Unlike the egregious personal attacks unleashed on Palin regarding her children, the parentage of, the parenting of, her clothing, her looks or anything else. You couldn't get any more personal than a detailed debate about whether her decision to fly on an airplane to get home and have her baby in Alaska might be related to his down syndrome condition (that is what was implied). I was really starting to expect a detailed account of how often she shaves her.
But, to be fair, that's comparing apples to oranges.
If we look at the treatment of Cindy McCain recently with the old implications of cheating, drug abuse and implications of mental issues, there is still no comparison. Nobody has as yet asked whether Michelle Obama participated in the drug taking admitted to by her husband in his biography. Hell, nobody has even really investigated Obama's use or any other related topic.
But, we know what awaits Fox. They are already getting the treatment. Obama won't come on any of the Fox shows. He will go to his patron, GE's station and Obama unofficial official campaign station, MSNBC and get stupid questions about his illegal aunt from Katie Couric when somebody should be asking if he actually sat down and did the math on his economic plan.
He has three network channels and at least two cable network channels in his pocket, along with untold numbers of newspapers, and he is complaining about being attacked by some "right wing, Republican station". The one voice in the wilderness that actually challenges his views.
Sounds like somebody needs the "WWAAAMBULANCE!"
