Olympics Open Thread

NBC will be broadcasting the taped Opening Ceremonies at 7:30pm/6:30 central. If you can make sense of it, NBC-Universal's schedule for showing events is here. (Personally, there's got to be a better way of finding out what is being shown and when. If you know of one, please put it in the comments.)

Despite that picture, I am looking forward to the Games. China was a terrible choice to host, but that doesn't take away from the achievements of the athletes and I intend to cheer the U.S. team and U.S. allies as I condemn China.
