Ohio Democrat Congressional Candidate Promises Hope, Change, Doppelgänger
If someone starts rubbing that disinfectant on their hands after shaking yours, it probably doesn't mean anything.
Last Friday evening Mary Jo Kilroy, Dem candidate for Ohio 15th congressional district sent a body double in her place to the Plain City Steam Thresher parade.
Not a note of apology for being unable to attend. A "tired campaign staffer" who sat in the back of a car with her name pasted on the side, waving to the good people of Plain City.
Follow the links to the comments at NaugBlog who picked up on this, and check out the classy non-denial denial from Kilroy's communications director Brad Bauman.
The GOP's video and YouTube label accuses this unidentified woman of being a body-double for Kilroy.
Kilroy communications director Brad Bauman was asked by PolitickerOH.com this morning whether Kilroy was at the parade early this morning -- before the YouTube video was circulated and before being told about the ORP's accusation that the campaign was using an impostor.
"No, she was not, our staff was though. We had a staff of about 9 or 10 at the parade," Bauman said.
When Bauman was told of the accusation, he was outraged.
"That has to be the most laughable f------ thing I have ever heard," he said.
Outrage? Nooooooo, opportunity!
Jaleel White, call your agent pal. Trust me, this is the big one.
