Not over the edge yet, but inching up to it, and one false step can drop us off the rocks.
We could weather this. But it seems to avoid a recession all of the world's policy makers will have to make all the right moves (itself highly unlikely) and then we'll have to catch a lucky break on top of that.
Or, you know, drop the price of oil by $50 per barrel simply by opening up the coasts (and ANWR) to exploration.
