Mortal Kombat vs... Batman!? [someone]

Sorry, let me rephrase that. Please let this be a joke:

What is Marvel vs. Capcom like on Bizarro World? I'm pretty sure it's Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe.

Midway has announced the latest entry in the storied fighting game series, and it's taking the series in a radical new direction: Scorpion and Sub-Zero will be facing off against Batman and Lois Lane.

OK, maybe not Lois, but a variety of DC superheroes will find themselves squaring off against the early 1990s most popular gang of digitized freakos.

Apparently, though, it's real enough to have a trailer.

And guess what? No fatalities. Uggh.

By the way... Batman? Wimp. One shot to the nads from Johnny Cage and he'd be history.
