The Second, and Third, Coming: HuffPo Begs Us Not To "Crucify" the Obamessiah on This Easter Weekend; James Carville Calls Bill Richardson "Judas Iscariot" For Betraying Hillary
Once again, Obama, Your Own Personal Jesus. Love that last quote.
By the way: I blitzed everybody (Who? Gary Oldman: EV-ERR-YYY-BODD-YYY!) on this vid last night, so it's finally getting the play it should.
I'm not getting hat-tipped by everyone, but I am the Johnny Appleseed right wing conspirator here. I am the straw that stirs the conservative blogosphere.
For independents: He didn't take responsibility for his own bad actions but tried to "contextualize" them, as usual, by blaming Whitey. We've frankly heard that before, too many times. It doesn't sell -- except to the in-the-bag ultraliberal media.
For blacks... I have no idea. The speculation is that blacks thought he was too hard on them, too "white" in his outlook... but he really wasn't. I'm hopeful that the real reason blacks didn't like the speech was similar to my own: Refusal to take responsibility, scapegoating, and evasive slipperiness on his own apparent support of racism.
As Allah says, make sure you read that last link to the impromptu unscientific poll of reactions at a Pennsylvania bar. The speech did not go over well with the "Budweiser class," as the arrogant and condescending media refers to anyone who's not on television.
