The First Four Yorkshireman Sketch: Comedy Archaeology

Before Python, Cleese and Chapman worked with Marty Feldman and some guy who would go on to to "The Goodies" (remember them?) in "At Last the 1948 Show." They did the "Four Yorkshiremen" sketch there, which would later be seen in The Secret Policeman's Ball and various Monty Python live shows.

All tapes of this show were erased. Well, all but a couple. This site links the only video remaining. Here are the last remaining proto-Python sketches.

Below, the Four Yorkshiremen sketch as it was first aired. Marty Feldman seems kind of out of it.
