Chicago cop contracts hit on another cop
Apparently he (only) faces up to 10 years if convicted of trying to arrange the contract hit on another cop who was going to testify against him.
Try to get your head around the proportionality here. White Chicago cop contracting for murder faces 10 years. Writing two bad checks, gets some black dude 20 years.
I guess this is what's known as the "police discount".
