Scientific American Breakthrough: Men Say They've Had More Sex Partners Than They've Really Had; Women, Fewer

It's worse than that, really. If you read it, they explain this to you s-l-o-w-l-y as if it hasn't occurred to you that if most men claim (say) 15 sex partners, and most men claim (say) six, then one if not both of these groups must be lying.
