KSM
It's all old now but here's some links.
The ABCNews story detailing his confession.
Hot Air with choice excerpts, including his confession to personally murdering Daniel Pearl.
Rosie O'Donnell is upset that KSM has been robbed of his "humanity."
What a vile woman.

Noah Schactman floats the theory, popular on the left, that KSM falsely confessed to virtually everything in order to increase his Terrorist Hero Cred or to protect his buddies. I don't think that there's much need of so much suspicion -- before the invasion of Afghanistan, Al Qaeda was more hands-on and active in the planning and execution of terror plots, so I don't find it terribly hard to believe that Al Qaeda's Number Three man -- and specifically its chief operating officer for terror -- had a hand in any number of plots. Why wouldn't he be involved in most Al Qaeda plots before his capture?
I think Schactman is thinking of Al Qaeda as it is now -- less directly involved in terrorism, offering mostly moral support and sometimes, when they can manage it, technical expertise to independently-acting cells -- and not as it was before KSM was captured.
