Attack on the Border
Viva Villa!
A U.S. Border Patrol entry Identification Team site was overrun Wednesday night along Arizona's border with Mexico.
According to the Border Patrol, an unknown number of gunmen attacked the site in the state's West Desert Region around 11 p.m. The site is manned by National Guardsmen. Those guardsmen were forced to retreat.
Bush immediately announced the invaders would be eligible for a "pathway to citizenship," but only if the "kept clean" of cross-border invasions for six months.
And If That's Not Infuriating Enough... Mexican drug smuggler given immunity to testify against border guards trying to stop him from smuggling 700+ pounds of drugs.
How did the prosecution go from an administrative violation for failing to report a firearm discharge, with the penalty of perhaps a five-day suspension, to prosecution for intent to commit murder?
How? Compassionate conservativism, that's how.
Thanks to Riehl World View.
Oh Lord: How to save Social Security? Send more of it to Mexican citizens, that's how.
No complaints from Democrats about "transition costs" when additional outlays are going to non-Americans, I notice.
