Leahy Wants To Investigate... Laura Ingraham

An ill wind chilling dissent is blowing, as Tim Robbins would say.

Mike Kelly -- who was pretty close to being a true moderate -- once observed that whenever Republicans begin threatening to actually become the popular, majority party in the country, they start doing very unpopular things, like (he said) giving tax breaks to millionaires.

Why? Well, he said, because that's what they believe in.

Well, good to see that Democrats actually believe in some things themselves -- and partisan payback is at the top of that list.

The thought of a repulsive toad like Leahy attempting to cross-examine a charming and articulate (not racist; she's white) woman like Laura Ingraham is just delicious.

That should work.
