JonBenet Ramsey Suspect Named
John Karr, formerly of Atlanta, Ga., was picked up in Bangkok, Thailand.
That sounds like probable cause right there.
Is anyone out there as shocked as me that 1) anyone was arrested and 2) it seems to be an outsider?
Update: Supposed there is a confession, made by email, to Thai cops, and to ICE, which took him into custody for extradition.
Supposedly these confessions also contain details about the crime not known to the general public, though I don't see that as likely, with all the exposure this case is gotten.
It's perfectly possible this guy is just a nutty confessor type.
DNA Match?: Tungsten Monk says there's a match between the suspect and DNA found on the undergarments. Unconfirmed at this time.
Jesus... if they were completely innocent... I owe them a huge apology myself.
And an apology to that one cop who was always going on TV to argue their innocence. Everytime I saw him, I thought he was just a lying bastard on the take.
He took a lot of that, including from the magazine shows that had him on, and always made his theories about the family's innocence seem absurd. (Can't blame the MSM; I was right there with them, saying "Nail that liar!")
But he stuck to his story.
And it looks like he was right. And I was very very wrong.
