Thanks To All The Guest-Bloggers
They all did a really great job, and I appreciate their efforts to keep this site going while I was at Hazelton for a few days for Blog Obsession Disorder Rehab.
Thanks to Michael, Dave In Texas (and his various aliases), BrewFan, Harrison, and John/DDG. They all blog at the Judean People's Front of Ace of Spades, also called Innocent Bystanders, also called Michael's Comments.
Retired Geezer posts there too, and also has his own blog at BlogIdaho, which I think is 98% about potatoes. In case you don't know, Retired Geezer to be a lighting guy for Paul Anka, and no, I'm not kidding. That's how he came to learn of this site, and how I came to learn of him.
And Slublog posts there too, of course, but he's also got his own blog, so I'll mention that. He mostly writes about shoes and hand-bags.
Same deal with Sobek Pundit. Thanks, Croc-Man. You've got the very best Phillip Michael Thomas Tribute Blog on the Internets.
Jack M. is an independent, and seems to be the only person on the face of the earth who shares my passion for Beatallica. Oh, well. I guess you sort of need to really like the Beatles, Metallica, and parodies, and if you don't like any of the three, you can never be a true fan.
When he's not blogging about Beatallica, JackM. tends to spend his time writing "slash" fan-fic about Muppets. His Ernie/Bert stories are a must read for fans of the genre.
Wuzzadem and Dave at Garfield Ridge also showed up, completely uninvited, and just about ruined everything with their unhinghed spam. Wuzzadem, as you all know, runs some sort of picture-friendly blog for slow children, and Dave spends most of his time lately defending himself from charges of sexual inadequacy and dysfunction leveled at him by another blogger.
Thanks, all. I geuninely appreciated it. And I commend you on beating maintaining almost reaching my recent weekend blog-traffic.
I had a goofy idea that I would just create an open log-in, and let just about every reader or commenter post on the blog, just as an experiment in blogging, and also so I could spend the day playing with my Star Wars miniature collection.
At the very least, the guest-bloggers have taught me something important: That would be a very bad idea indeed.
Just kidding. Thank you for your good work and spelling me for a, um, spell. I enjoyed leaving the blog in capable hands while gave myself a Time Out from all my recent blog-warring.
Update: Dave "Thomas Jefferson" From Texas also has a blog. It's one of those persona journal type dealios, where every post is basically "My stupid friend Stacey think she all cute, but she ain't."
Good stuff. Make sure you check it out if you're into all of Dave's galpals who are not as cute as they seem to imagine.
