If Any Bloggers Want To Apply Further Logic To The GG Case...
Niko points something very interesting out.
you missed one important fingerprint that Mr Greenwald left in all
those blogs: the so-called "user agent", i.e. an identifier that shows
his browser brand, browser version, operating system, OS version, and
probably patch level of his OS (SP1, SP2, ...) The user agent string
is *always* sent with every request from browser to server.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_agent
Typically, all blogs do record the user agent along with the IP (in
order to make those fancy log statistics), so you might want to ask
your blog provider for the relevant entries of Greenwald's requests to
your blog, i.e. his posting of comments. Most providers store those
records for at least 6 months.
He already confessed that it was the same household, so if the user
agent strings match, too, then it *must* be the same computer - which
directly contradicts "Ryan's" claim that he "e-mailed" Greenwald about
one particular topic when it's the same computer, not "another person"
down the stairs who happens to share his IP address.
And if the browers, operating systems, etc., are the same, it would prove that, if the Magic Boyfriend were posting these posts, it must have been by quickly jumping on a computer Glenn Greenwald was using, writing a defense of him, and they yielding the computer back within 9 or 17 minutes.
I already consider the possibility that they were both using different computers at the same time to do the exact same things -- scour the internet for references to GG, defend GG obsessively, etc. -- to lack "logic."
As I've mentioned a thousand times, these posts were made during working hours, so unless the Magic Boyfriend works from home or is unemployed, he simply could not have posted them at all.
Even assuming he was home -- when he gets on the computer, doesn't he look up news and things that are interesting to he himself? No poker? No soccer scores? Has he no internal life of his own, no intellectual interests of his own, aside from defending Glenn Greenwald's net-rep?
Still... if anyone wants to take it further, there you go.
