New York: Officially a No-Fun Zone
Yeah, I liked when Rudy Guilliani cleaned the city up. Reduced crime, got the transexual streetwalkers to be a bit more subtle, or at least not ply the most-travelled or touristy streets.
But enough is enough. New York is not f'n' San Diego, for the love of God. First this insipid smoking ban in bars -- a ban now being widely flouted after 11 pm (1 pm on weekends), thank goodness -- and now they're even shutting down our prized underground poker houses.
And I never even got to go to one.
Thanks to Chickpea.
