Chirac at 24% Popularity Rating
Still too high, dagammit. We must do better.
And Lorie Byrd reminds us that France's new Prime Minister and former James Bond villain Dominique De Villepain (all he fuggin' needs is an eyepatch and a metal arm) has never been elected to anything. He just keeps getting appointed by higher-ranking douchebags.
In Germany they call it schadenfreude. Actually, they call it that here, too. Gerald Schroeder's at 28% approval.
I don't know if those skullduggerous snap-elections are going to help him. Then again, it's a parliamentary system, where getting 1.3% of the vote plus support from a bunch of other idiots can get you a new term of rule.
Europe's Political Leadership
