Unbelievable: Mark Halperin Distorts to Help Kerry »

Bush to Stump In New Jersey
It's a race there after all:
Campaigning in South Jersey gives Bush what his aides call a "double hit" - rallying the Republican faithful there and getting free television exposure in adjacent Pennsylvania, considered one of the swing states that could decide the election.
Kerry allies in New Jersey professed to be unconcerned about the late spike of state activity in the White House's favor. They said Bush and Cheney were trying to bluff Kerry into making what they said would be an unnecessary trip to the state and possibly spending campaign money there.
Bluff? I don't know. Latest Quinnippiac poll has Kerry up 49-46. Not exactly stomping Bush.
