The Torre Guinigi is a tower in Lucca, Tuscany, central Italy. It is a typical example of local Romanesque-Gothic architecture. The height of the tower is 45 meters with a total of 233 steps to reach the top.
The tower dates from the 1300s, when a number of wealthy families were building bell towers within the walls of Lucca as status symbols. It is one of the few remaining towers within the walls. It is known for the tall trees (holm oaks) growing on top of the tower.

I walked up to the top of a tower in Lucca but I don't remember any trees so maybe I went up a different one. What a dope, going up the less cool tower.

Here's a photo of the tower at full height. It says the photo was taken from another tower. That must have been the one I went up.

This is me after gym class in 7th grade. I was not comfortable with my blossoming sexuality. No one else was comfortable with my blossoming sexuality either. I know this because they made a special point of telling me so.
