There is no "clean up work" in Florida that they can do. Illegal aliens cannot work.

This is literally tricking illegal aliens to make them go away -- but I don't expect the leftwingers to criticize this.

I expect them to celebrate this Cunning Strategem.

Scores of Venezuelan migrants in New York City are hopping on vans to head down to Florida for Hurricane Ian clean-up, they told The Post.

The migrants had scant information about whom they would be working for, but they still piled into vans in Queens that they said were headed to the Sunshine State over the weekend.

"They want us for hurricane cleanup, we'd get paid $15 an hour, overtime and $15 for food daily, I think," said Javier Moreno, 37, noting that a woman named Camila "from an organization" approached him with a flier.

"I'm going for the work. It's been hard for us migrants to find work here in New York, that's why a lot of us are going. How's the work in Florida?"

A driver of one of the vans at the designated pick-up site, a corner in Corona, told The Post on Saturday that he was headed to Florida.

He said he was under contract with a water and debris company. The firm did not answer its phone despite repeated attempts to call by The Post.

"I'm taking these people in the van straight to Florida tonight," the van driver said. "I don't know how many people have left or how many more vans are coming."

People converge on an intersection in Corona, Queens where migrants were promised work by a cleaning company. Hundreds of Venezuelan migrants in New York leapt at the chance to earn $700 a week or more doing hurricane cleanup in Florida, sharing a shady flyer amongst themselves and lining up to jump on vans taking them to the Sunshine State, The Post has learned.

The migrants were leaving city shelters in droves to try to catch a ride -- and garner work -- down south.

One migrant woman said she learned of the vans and the potential work from group chats that the migrants are in.

"We all decided we would go," she said.

Asked who was offering the work, she said, "I don't know anything, sweetheart."

Who knows, maybe this is a fly-by-night company that actually is hiring illegals. There is plenty of that going on every day.

Someone on Twitter is trying to push the narrative that Ukraine will be "Biden's Afghanistan"

There's no masks in that large, packed, indoor crowd. Being vaccinated is great but doesn't mean you can't spread the virus, we know that testing isn't perfect either. That's why we need layered protection, and high quality masks are a crucial part of that.

1, masks do very little to stop disease.

2, how dare you, an Internet "journalist" covering the "TikTok influencer beat," instruct medical professionals about what the science says about masking.

3, masks are primarily devices to prevent neurotic overreactions, and I would suggest that the rest of us are tired of walking on eggshells to stop triggering mentally-ill housebound derelicts like yourself.
