The Morning Report — 8/3/22

husdadpelo.jpg

Good morning, kids. Late start for me so I'll try to keep it brief. Another big super Tuesday with a couple more Trump-endorsed candidates advancing while in Kansas, a pro-abortion ballot measure wins handily (shenanigans notwithstanding) begging the age-old question, what's wrong with Kansas? Then again, leaving out the issue of abortion itself, the reversal of Roe represented a victory for the principal of Federalism insofar as the status quo pre-1973 was restored. It's up to the states and their citizenry to decide what they want, so long as the rights of the individual as laid out in the Constitution are not violated. And let's not go down the penumbra and emanation path and "right to privacy" bullshit, but the point is made. In any case, the irony of the protests and violence aimed at those who supported the SCOTUS decision in light of the Kansas vote yesterday is kind of radiant. The Left engaged in the political process it refused to acknowledge that was upheld by the Alito decision in the first place.

As to the advancement of MAGA candidates as well as what the midterms and ultimately 2024 portend, it's anyone's guess. The Democrats know that, all things being equal, they are on course for a rejection of historic proportions both this November and in two years. The dual questions of what can and will they do to rig them to preserve their power, as well as given the absolute, unbridgeable divide between pro-America Americans and anti-American "natives" (to call them "American" makes no sense since they have rejected their birthright harder than Esau for a bowl of barley soup) as well as the corruption of government top to bottom and much of the private sector and culture, will elections serve as nothing more than a barometer of an increasingly disenfranchised citizenry from a political leadership class that sees them as merely unwashed, lumpenprole, untermensch serfs to abuse and lord over?

We have crossed several rubicons these past six or more years, and really since 9/11/01. In a real sense I can't see us going back to what was. That said, the growing disenfranchisement of more and more heretofore disparate groups of people that are traditional political/cultural rivals if not enemies, are united by the intentional and wanton destruction of the Globalist Left and their confederates in the phony GOP/pseudo conservative movement.

The world itself is being convulsed by the Axis of Evil: The WEF global resetters, the Chi-Coms and their stooges and of course Islam. Whether they work in tandem or merely cooperate to bring down the common enemy, which is the past 1,000 years of an ever-advancing humanity (to greater or lesser degrees depending on the country and society) towards freedom and progress (not "progressivism'), the American century and post-1945 relatively peaceful world order and human advancement has ended.

What comes after is now up for grabs. Cue Tina Turner singing "will our story shine like a light, or end in the dark?"

    ABOVE THE FOLD, BREAKING, NOTEWORTHY

  • "Big Tech promises to scourge or salve our human nature."
    Sacred Culture or Cyborg Rapture
  • "There has indeed in the last thirty years been a war on capitalism conducted from the commanding heights of the academy and very broadly assisted by the Western media that has been gathering strength as part of the great comeback of the Left following their bone-crushing defeat in the Cold War."
    "The War on Capitalism"
