The Morning Report - 6/3/22

thingspeech2.jpg

Good morning, kids. The weekend is here and once again, we have been forced to watch a rerun of "The Thing's Speech." A nation already suffering under the ideologically-driven, manifest incompetence of an illegitimate junta hell bent on tearing us apart for fun and profit is forced to endure the embodiment of a (barely) walking insult to everything that is good, right, just and pure.

“This isn’t about taking away anyone’s rights,” Biden claimed before rattling off a list of ways that he wanted to take away people’s Second Amendment rights.

Biden called for banning semi-automatic long guns, which are extremely popular in the United States, banning what he claimed were “high-capacity magazines,” enacting red flag laws that strip Americans of due process, and going after gun manufacturers.

“We need to ban assault weapons and high capacity magazines,” Biden said. “And if we can’t ban assault weapons, then we should raise the age to purchase them from 18 to 21, strengthen the background checks.”

Raising the age needed to buy firearms would not have stopped nine of the 10 worst mass shootings in U.S. history as all of the shooters, except for two, were 21-years-old or older. Of the two shooters who were under 21, one of them, the man responsible for the Sandy Hook shooting, stole the weapons that he used from his parents.

Biden politicized recent tragedies to attack Republican lawmakers while his [junta] has struggled to manage numerous crises that have erupted under his leadership, including the crisis at the southern border, baby formula shortage, skyrocketing inflation, soaring fuel costs, and so on.

Same thing with the leaked Roe v. Wade decision which is probably going to be officially announced any day now. That was a pre-planned op to attempt to stave off disaster for the Democrats come next November. A look at the polls shows it did nothing. In fact, several GOP states to their credit have doubled down on passing their own highly restrictive abortion laws, even near across the board bans. That should be a clue to the national party about both the mood of the nation as well as political strategy. Should be.

Let's be real; this junta and everyone that works for or supports it has demonstrated quite clearly their willingness and even a fundamentalist zeal to impose their will on us. Over the course of decades, we have now fallen to the level where the once unthinkable — stolen elections, rigged kangaroo courts and show trials, state-sanctioned persecution of political enemies, along with intimidation, coercion and censorship in the private sector — is now the norm. The only thing perhaps that prevents them from just openly dissolving the fig leaf of the republic that remains and instituting a dictatorship is the knowledge that the two thirds of this country that opposes them are armed to the teeth.

I used to think that they'd be crazy if they tried to disarm us, but then again the thought of them actually doing all of the aforementioned banana republic madness was equally unimaginable. And yet, they did it and rub our faces in it every damn day since. So, here they are once again eager to untuck their tranny wee-wees and slap them on a live third rail. In all fairness, while Democrats may have suffered at the polls for passing gun control laws in one form or another, the mission to degrade the 2-A was nevertheless accomplished. Even if they lose an election here or there, it makes no difference. They play the long game and they've played it quite well.

But as I alluded to earlier, with people's savings getting wiped out and with shortages of food and fuel getting worse, (while becoming more and more expensive when they are available), while most decent people are shocked and horrified about Uvalde, their focus is not on it. In fact, imagine the idiotic riots that break out in department stores when they open the doors on Black Friday. And that's just for Cabbage Patch dolls and three-packs of tube sox. What do you think will be number one on everyone's Christmas list when more than just infant formula runs out and we have bread lines?

Imagine the mostly peaceful terrorists of BLM coming not just to torch a local Walmart or Best Buy, but coming to your house to raid your refrigerator. Think that that can't happen here? Again, I refer you to what has happened here.

For now, let's put the dystopian imagery aside and return once again to the GOP. If Murkowski and Collins are willing to join the Dems (assuming they are not part of them in real terms anyway) vis a vis Roe, you can bet your ass they will cave on the gun-grabbing. In any case, despite the granular procedural crap, the overall theme, just like every other issue, should not only be a full-throated opposition to the Democrats but an indictment of them, their policies and their morality.

Whatever transpires from this, and I'd like to think that this too will blow over especially once the Roe decision is released, if the Democrats do indeed shoot their wad, pun intended, and actually attempt to grab our guns, it will be the GOP's trademark fecklessness that will have lit the fuse of whatever happens next. That said, will even this be enough to cause an unthinkable reaction among the citizenry, again bearing in mind what was once unthinkable is, to the Left, a day at the office?

PS: John Hinckley Jr., the psycho who shot Ronald Reagan and crippled James Brady is to be released from prison, a week after Manson Family slaughterer Patricia Krenwinkel gets paroled. But let's disarm America. For the children!

Have a good weekend.
