Fauci: I Didn't Shut Down The Schools

Look at this demonic midget evade responsibility in the video below.

Technically, no, he didn't shut down the schools. But only because he didn't have the power to do that.

What he did is campaign for them to be closed, which governors, particularly in Fauci-worshipping, Trump-hating blue states, promptly did, to prove that They F***ing Love Science.

He also claimed that lockdowns didn't harm children. When Cavuto points out Science establishing that they did, he immediately Questions The Science, which he previously informed me was a grave moral sin.

What about The Fauci Effect, Fauci? It's why I'm going to medical school, you know.

Fauci's been denying any role in shutting down schools for a while now:

He didn't order the lockdowns -- but he's still a huge, huge supporter of them.

Not only is he a supporter of the last catastrophic lockdowns he engineered -- he vows that if he had the chance to do it all again, he'd impose even more draconian lockdowns.

Lockdowns and mask mandates were the most radical experiment in the history of public health, but Dr. Walensky isn't alone in thinking they failed because they didn't go far enough. Anthony Fauci, chief medical adviser to the president, recently said there should have been "much, much more stringent restrictions" early in the pandemic. The World Health Organization is revising its official guidance to call for stricter lockdown measures in the next pandemic, and it is even seeking a new treaty that would compel nations to adopt them. The World Economic Forum hails the Covid lockdowns as the model for a "Great Reset" empowering technocrats to dictate policies world-wide.

Yet these oppressive measures were taken against the longstanding advice of public-health experts, who warned that they would lead to catastrophe and were proved right. For all the talk from officials like Dr. Fauci about following "the science," these leaders ignored decades of research--as well as fresh data from the pandemic--when they set strict Covid regulations. The burden of proof was on them to justify their dangerous experiment, yet they failed to conduct rigorous analyses, preferring to tout badly flawed studies while refusing to confront obvious evidence of the policies' failure.

U.S. states with more-restrictive policies fared no better, on average, than states with less-restrictive policies. There's still no convincing evidence that masks provided any significant benefits. When case rates throughout the pandemic are plotted on a graph, the trajectory in states with mask mandates is virtually identical to the trajectory in states without mandates. (The states without mandates actually had slightly fewer Covid deaths per capita.) International comparisons yield similar results. A Johns Hopkins University meta-analysis of studies around the world concluded that lockdown and mask restrictions have had "little to no effect on COVID-19 mortality."

Meanwhile, you'll be paying this monster's $350,000 per year retirement salary.

Anthony Fauci is set to receive an annual retirement package exceeding $350,000 following his controversial tenure as the Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

The staggering, taxpayer-funded figure comes amidst Fauci -- who sent U.S. taxpayer dollars to fund risky bat coronavirus research at a Chinese Communist Party-controlled lab in Wuhan -- announcing he'd step down from his National Institutes of Health (NIH) position in addition to the role of Chief Medical Advisor to President Joe Biden in December.

Maddow seemed ready to convert to heterosexuality over this nasty pixie.

Maddow couldn't contain herself. Before Fauci was even brought on, she melted with praise for Fauci. "Dr. Anthony Fauci is a singular figure in American history and in American public service. There has never been anyone else like him, and there never will be again" Maddow proclaimed.

...

Maddow, addressing Fauci added, "I feel like you're an exception to my cynicism on that, in part just because it's rare for one person to head up an important part of the government's capabilities over such a long period of time, over so many different challenges, through so many different presidencies."

...

Perhaps attempting to preempt the charges that he spent the COVID pandemic contradicting himself on everything from mask-wearing to vaccines, Fauci cried "that was interpreted by many as flip-flopping or not really knowing what's going on when it really was the evolution of the science."

There have been a lot of theories and conspiracy theories and accusations and more or less wild claims about the origins of COVID in particular," Maddow wailed in her attempt at serving as Fauci's publicist. "It seems like that's when people on the political right really started getting their claws into you and targeting you personally during this pandemic," Maddow insisted.

"What we're dealing with now is just a distortion of reality," he said, lashing out. He then proceeded to whine about all the "conspiracy theories which don't make any sense."

Maddow followed up by asking if Fauci has "any insight into what we ought to do as a country to deal with" the threats Fauci has gotten. She then proceeded to slime conservatives by claiming they think "anybody citing science or facts or objective reality or nuance is, by definition, the enemy."

Fauci, the nonpartisan Man of Science, decided to bring January 6th into this to prove his "scientific" claims.

Fauci ended the segment by throwing a temper tantrum that people "could look at January 6 on TV, and you have some people who actually don't believe it happened. How could that possibly be?" Fauci kvetched, adding that "it's now spilling over in denial about public health principles."

Maddow ended the interview by thanking Fauci "for a lifetime, so far of service."

A couple of nights ago Tucker flamed Fauci and his Cult of Envenomed Wine Aunts, before then getting into more serious matters like Fauci funding the creation of the virus that shut down the world, and then using government resources and intimidation to cover that up, and lying to Congress about it.

Even if you don't want to watch that recap, maybe watch just the beginning for some quality sarcasm about St. Fauci and his most passionate devotees.

Related: archliberal-who-is-not-insane Eric Weinstein flamed NPR a couple of weeks ago for trying to pretend that the CDC's guidance -- which essentially cancelled all their previous Covid Safety LARPing demands -- was "no big deal" and just a minor tweak of past recommendations.

By the way, speaking of minor tweaks: YouTube will now allow you to say, accurately, that masks did not control the spread of covid.

YouTube, like the New York Times in May, has acknowledged the data shows that mask-wearing and mask mandates had no statistical impact on stopping the spread of COVID.

Similarly, a study found no substantial difference between COVID rates between schools with and without mask mandates.

All those months children had to wear dirty rags on their faces were a waste. Still, putting #MaskUp made you one of the cool ones online.

YouTube has yet to address the change or whether it would allow those banned for telling the truth about masks back on the platform.

I guess The Science (TM) evolved? Or was it just the government-coordinated censorship?
