I had the same thought as David Strom has here: If Biden withdraws his candidacy due to infirmity, he must also resign from the presidency, immediately. What would even be the counterargument? If he is too inform right now to be president in 2025, he's also too infirm to be president in 2024. There is no way to square this circle.
