BREAKING: E. Jean Carroll Awarded $83.3 Million in "Trump Defamation" Case.
This "defamation" consisted of Trump rejecting the original stupid jury verdict. Apparently there's a new Trump-only rule that if a partisan jury convicts you of nonsense, you are required to proclaim your guilt, or the state will endlessly extort you.
Ed Morrissey: "I suspect that an appellate court will take a skeptical view of the new action. Carroll became a public person by selling her memoir in which she related her claims against Trump. In those circumstances, a person has a right to defend themselves against the allegations, including questioning the motives behind them. We'll see what happens on appeal. "
