Morning Jolt: Obamacare Clash Dead Ahead
Geraghty acknowledges people think Obamacare is bad and asks whether Americans will be okay with shutting down the government. (BTW, I thought we were trying to fund the government, just not Obamacare.) He caught this NBC poll yesterday: "Per the poll, 44% call it a bad idea, while 31% believe it's a good idea.... What's more, by a 45% to 23% margin, Americans say the law will have a negative impact on the country's health-care system rather than a positive one." [rdbrewer]

Warren Buffett: Scrap Obamacare and Start Over
"'Attack the costs first, and then worry about expanding coverage,' he said. 'I would much rather see another plan that really attacks costs. And I think that's what the American public wants to see. I mean, the American public is not behind this bill.'" [rdbrewer]
