NYT: Google Concedes That Drive-by Prying Violated Privacy
Don't be evil! Maybe now Google will also admit it doesn't run its street mapping cars up and down the streets of Aspen and Snowmass because "those houses belong to us and our pals." You see, street mapping is for your house and your neighborhood, not theirs, because you're not fabulously wealthy, and pictures of your house won't cost them cocktail party invites. Another ugly ethical issue for a company tripping on power and out of control. [rdbrewer]
