Progress? DoJ Inspector General Agrees to Take Superficial Look, at Least, into Whether ACORN Has Received DoJ Funds and Whether Audits of Those Funds Were Conducted
I had wanted to main-post this, until I read just how crabbed a "look" is being taken:

Glenn Fine, the Inspector General of the Department of Justice today wrote... that his office is planning on opening a review into whether ACORN applied for or received any Justice Department grants or funds and whether or not the Justice Department ever carried out any audits or reviews of those funds.

Still, it is, I guess, something of an official-ish opening of a file...
