Apple Bonking: Beatles Suing Apple Computer Corp. Over Trademark Infringement
1991 deal allowed Apple Computer to use the apple trademark/logo, so long as the company did not enter the entertainment business... alas, Apple Computer is now increasingly involved only in the entertainment business. Has Apple Records put out any music in the past ten years, I wonder?

Has Apple Records put out any music in the past ten years, I wonder?

Actually, every Beatle album since 1989 or thereabouts has been an Apple release, distributed by Capitol Records in the U.S., since Apple Corps, Ltd. now owns the original master tapes. Some of these albums, particulary the Beatles Anthology, featured the Granny Smith apple logo on the face of the CD, or the label of the vinyl record, as the case may be.

But this is true only if you consider Beatle records to be music.
