American forces are believed to have been involved in a battle with gunmen protecting the house of radical Shi'ite cleric Muqtada al Sadr in Iraq.
One woman was killed and three others wounded in the clashes in the Iraqi holy city of Kufa.
Witnesses said al Sadr was in his house at the time. The US military had no immediate comment.
A dangerous situation, obviously, for all of Iraq. Still, I'd like to see this guy cashed out, whatever the consequences. I trust the soldiers surrounding his home feel the same way.
